“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17
Youth News January 2022:
Youth and Parents, Can you believe that it’s 2022?! I pray you all had a meaningful holiday season, and feel a bit more refreshed and revitalized to live into the plans God has for you in this new year. How powerful it is, that no matter what occurred in our lives during 2021, God is still at work here and now – and we can be assured God will be with us amidst all that 2022 will bring. I am so grateful to be apart of our Neill’s Creek church family, and I cannot wait to see how God will work in and through us during this new season of life and ministry. For our Youth, we are kicking off the new year by attending Crossroads Winter Conference in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Retreats always prove to be one of the best ways to connect students to deeper relationships with one another, and with our God, and because of that, I could not think of a better way for us to begin the year. In addition, we have a number of other activities over the coming months to look forward to: a lock-in, a day of paintball, youth worship nights in our FLC, a D-NOW weekend, and more! As always, be sure you are connected to Remind to best stay up-to-date on all Youth information. Finally, to everyone reading this message, on behalf of myself and all our Youth at NCBC, thank you for what you do to make Neill’s Creek the family of faith it is. Your work and support does not go unnoticed, and we are truly thankful for who you are. Here’s to another great year together!
Thanks and blessings, Christian

Formatted similarly to the church goals, the Youth have compiled our own goals for our group. These goals are:
1) Completion of the NCBC Family Life Center – a space that can better accommodate our youth and church family
2) Engage in intentional mission/outreach projects to serve our community and spread God’s love to all
3) Become more biblically educated/literate – especially on obscure or rarely mentioned Bible stories & books
4) Continued development of unity within our group
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
