“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”  Romans 8:11

Youth News January 2021:

Youth and Parents,

I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season! If yours was anything like mine, it was certainly a bit strange, yet it was a welcome conclusion to the year 2020. As we enter into the new year, my prayer is that we may do so with the hope, peace, joy, and love that only Christ can bring. Though I imagine 2021 will bring its own share of strange happenings, may we find rest in knowing that our God is with us throughout it all. Our Youth aim to be as active and engaged as possible, and we would love to have your students join us. We welcome all to attend any of our activities in person, though if your students choose to remain online, we fully understand that decision as well. Please let me know how I might be able to support you and your students during this time; I am here to help any way I can! My prayers are with you all as we begin this new year – we love you!

Thanks and blessings, Christian

Formatted similarly to the church goals, the Youth have compiled our own goals for our group. These goals are:

1) Completion of the NCBC Family Life Center – a space that can better accommodate our youth and church family
2) Engage in intentional mission/outreach projects to serve our community and spread God’s love to all
3) Become more biblically educated/literate – especially on obscure or rarely mentioned Bible stories & books
4) Continued development of unity within our group

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”     Galatians 2:20
