“And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.” Romans 8:11
Hello all! As the new year is officially underway and in full swing, our NCBC Youth are busy as ever! We were able to kick-start the year with midnight bowling and a lock-in on January 10th, where we had over 50 people in attendance. This was a fun (and exhausting) way to begin the new year, welcoming all 6th-12th grade students to take part in our youth group. We will be going to West Virginia for our Winter Retreat, hosted by the Baptist Assembly and BeDoTell worship team, from 1/31-2/2. While this is a quick trip, it will be one where our students can get away, have fun, worship, and experience the transformation that only our God can provide. Following this trip, we have paintball, a D-NOW weekend, an outreach event, and more scheduled for the upcoming semester. It is a great time to be part of NCBC Youth!
Formatted similarly to the 2020 church goals, the Youth have compiled our own goals for our group over the next year. These goals are:
1) Completion of the NCBC Family Life Center – a space that can better accommodate our youth and church family
2) Engage in intentional mission/outreach projects to serve our community and spread God’s love to all
3) Become more biblically educated/literate – especially on obscure or rarely mentioned Bible stories & books
4) Continued development of unity within our group
Please join us in prayer as we strive toward these goals for the upcoming year, to be the best youth group we can be, and most im-portantly, the youth group God calls us to be. Thanks for all you do! Love and blessings, Christian
Upcoming dates to be aware of:

Love and blessings,
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
